How it works

From business request to go live and monitoring.

One data product, followed end to end. Customer 360 is the example: every stage measured, every step recorded, and the business able to see it as it happens.

The lifecycle

Six stages, and one data maturity score that moves with them.

At every stage FluenBox consolidates the reports from the tools you already use, recalculates the score and records the change in the audit trail.

01 · Request

A business request, approved for analysis

A business stakeholder asks for a new data product: what they need, why, and who will use it. The data team reviews the request and approves it to be analysed.

02 · Onboarding

Teams join with RACI roles

Every data product starts with its RACI matrix: who does the work, who answers for it, who is consulted and who is kept informed. Each role sees only its own tasks and approvals.

RACI roles per data product

03 · Tasks

A checklist per maturity level

Teams complete tasks, and the evidence arrives from the connected tools instead of being uploaded by hand. Oregon AI flags the gaps as they appear.

04 · Assessment

Reviewed against frameworks and regulation

Each control is mapped to the frameworks that apply: DAMA-DMBOK, DCAM, CDMC and ISO 8000, GDPR where personal data is processed, and BCBS 239, DORA and the EU AI Act for regulated institutions.

05 · Go live

Published with a verifiable certificate

Once the score passes the go-live threshold, the data product goes to production with its certificate. From then on the score is recalculated continuously.

06 · Audit

Validated and exported

Every report, task, evidence item, approval and score change is logged with date and author. Auditors validate the evidence and export the audit pack.

Data maturity at every stage

A data product goes live when it meets the standard you set.

A go-live threshold you choose

Each organisation decides the data maturity a data product needs before it goes live, depending on how critical it is.

Every improvement measured again

Each fix is measured again, so progress shows as a trend. If a live product drops below the threshold, its tasks reopen.

Rolled up for leadership

Product results roll up to domains, countries and the whole organisation, so the board reads the same picture the teams work on.

What data maturity is

The reporting hub

One view per data product, consolidated from the tools you already run.

FluenBox does not replace your stack. It reads reports and signals from it through connectors, and turns them into evidence.

FinOps

Cost against the value delivered.

Data quality

Rules, results and trends.

Job executions

Runs, failures and freshness.

Data models

Structure and change over time.

Service management

Incidents and requests.

Catalog and lineage

Ownership and how data flows.

Security and access

Who can see what, and why.

Assessments

Frameworks, controls and evidence.

Personal data

GDPR controls, proved before go live.

When a data product holds personal data, FluenBox adds the GDPR controls to its plan: lawful basis, purpose limitation, minimisation, retention, data subject rights, security of processing, records of processing, impact assessment and international transfers. Each one counts only when the evidence is there.
